Moderator: Welcome everyone to tonight's chat with Trevor Banks and head coach Alan Dawson.

Pat (Norfolk): Trevor, Is youth and high school soccer big in Wisconsin?Best of luck to you this season.
Trevor Banks: Not so much high school as club soccer. Club soccer is very visible. We went to a lot of high profile showcases and tournaments.

John (Virginia Beach,Va.): Alan, I noticed the league has gone more to a wednesday-saturday schedule. How will that be helpful to you and the team?
Coach Dawson: This is a change brought about by the coaches which will help the players and give them more recovery time and the fact that the matches will be in the evenings will also help with attendance.

Carly(Virginia Beach): Trevor, how do you see yourself as a senior helping to develop this team?
Trevor Banks: Naturally as a senior I take on the responsibity to take on the leadership of the team whether I was the captain or not. I think it is how I was brought up to take over and be a leader.

Tim: Tough early schedule as always. Do you see the squad coming around? Look forward to seeing you guys this weekend.
Coach Dawson: traditionally we play a difficult schedule. St. John's and SMU are both top 10 teams. It has been very good for us in evaluating our team. We have made progress and are very exctied about the direction of the squad.

Paul (SUffolk): Alan, The league is always so strong every year, how does a coach prepare for such a night in night out battle?
Coach Dawson: The league presents you different types of challenges, depending on the team, and venue. You have to be prepared to play no matter the circumstances. Sometimes you have to win ugly...

Terry: Trevor, What is your major and what are you looking to do after graduation?
Trevor Banks: I am majoring in communications with an emphasis on film video production. After graduation, Ideally would like to get drafted and develop a career in the MLS.

Tom (Norfolk): Good win Sunday Alan, beating your old college coach. Best of luck the rest of the way.
Coach Dawson: THank you very much Tom.

Ben (Virginia Beach): Alan, How are David Horst and Yomby Williams doing on the pro-level. I thought I ready that David started a game for Real Salt Lake.
Coach Dawson: Dave is doing very well and they consider him the future of the franchise. Yomby is with Puerto Rico which is one of the top teams in the A-League.

Meghan: Trevor, Did you play anyother sports besides soccer growing up?
Trevor Banks: I played basketball up through my sophomore year in high school. I had to retire to put my major focus on soccer.

Larry: Where will this year's CAA Tournament be held?
Coach Dawson: This year's highest seed will host the CAA tournament.

harry (portsmouth): What makes it so tough to win on the road?
Trevor Banks: Obviously there are hostile crowds in some venues. It is something you have to deal with. Traveling sometimes drains you out as well as having to keep up with your studies. It can get overwhelming sometimes.

Bill(Virginia Beach): Trevor, In what ways do you think you have grown since coming to ODU?
Trevor Banks: In a lot of ways, I think I have become more discipline on how i approach games. Getting physically prepared as well as mentally. I also feel I understand more of what it takes to lead a team.
Moderator: Well everyone, thanks for the questions and hope to see you all this weekend at the Stihl Soccer Classic.
